Macaroni and Cheese with Chinese Sausage

You'll need

  • 2 – 4 Chinese Sausage links
  • ¼ cup butter
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ pound Velveeta
  • 2 cups cooked elbow macaroni
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 Ritz crackers, crushed

Let’s get cooking!

STEP 1:

Heat butter over low heat, whisk in flour.  Cook for 10 minutes.

STEP 2:

Whisk in milk and simmer on low for 15 minutes.

STEP 3:

Stir in Velveeta and cheddar cheese until mixed.

STEP 4:

Cook sausage according to package.  Dice cooked sausage and stir into cheese mixture.

STEP 5:

Stir in cooked pasta.

STEP 6:

Pour into an oven safe dish, top with crushed Ritz crackers, and bake in oven 10-15 minutes.  Enjoy!
