BBQ SHAVED STEAK SANDWICH W/ RED ONIONS, CHEDDAR AND BACON

You'll need

  • 1 lb. Bridger Shaved Steak
  • 1 Loaf sliced Ciabatta Bread
  • ½ medium red onion, thinly sliced
  • 4 slices sharp cheddar cheese
  • 8 pieces cooked bacon
  • ¾ cup BBQ Sauce
  • 1 ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¾ tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp oil

Let’s get cooking!

Step 1

Heat sauté pan on med-high heat with oil, once heated add shaved steak and season with salt pepper, garlic powder and onion powder.

Step 2

Once meat is cooked and slightly brown, drain excess fat, and add the BBQ sauce, stir until it comes to a simmer, shut off heat

Step 3

Slightly toast 2 pieces of bread. Layer toast with two slices of cheddar, pile with BBQ steak, top with bacon and onions, and serve.
